Bath haul

I'm absolutely in love with bath products and I adore trying out new products from time to time. So I thought I'd let you guys know my all time favourite products that I use on a day to day basis.

The first review of bath collections is Lush, I recently received this as a gift and I love it so much , it's a set that comes with both shower gel (100g) and soap (100g)it smells so divine. The shower gel and soap has a fruity scent of a sweet citrus aroma . Happy Hippy is such an uplifting smell especially in the up and coming summer months as it would be so perfect to use in the shower due to the summery scent.

I never used to be a lover of Soap and Glory as I didn't seem too interested in their products as I thought their products were over rated and over priced. However when the brand itself was becoming more popular I had to see why people were raving about their products. To this day I' so glad I tried their products as they have such a unique and amazing scent and the products itself never disappoints.

The first of the soap and glory products that I am going to review is the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub RRP £8.00. the body scrub has the ingredients of brown sugar, macadamia grains, sweet lime. almond oil and sea salt allows to exfoliate any dry areas of skin that you could possibly have and makes your skin feel like velvet. Although Soap and Glory have a history of buttery scents the Sugar Crush Scrub is the complete opposite , it has a distinct citrus smell of sweet lime which is extremely refreshing for the morning shower. If you suffer with dry skin I do highly recommend this product and use it once every 1-2 weeks to get rid of dead skin and allow your skin to feel smooth.

This product is one of the products that I can not rave about enough , it's the Soap and Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter RRP £7.00. The product has a thick texture which actually feels so light and airy when applied to the skin. It has the ingredients of sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, macadamia nut oil and cocoa & shea butters and has over 25% moisture oils and butter which allows this product to be such an amazing moisturiser as well as a shower cream. This scent of this product is godly and to myself smells like vanilla and coca. One of the best things about this product is you only need a small amount of product to create a perfect lather, meaning that this product will last a log time. I couldn't recommend this product enough as it makes my skin feel so soft and refreshed, more so the smell of the product lingers for a long time on the skin which is such an amazing bonus.

The Rich & Famous Body Wash is another product I would highly recommend from the Soap & Glory range. The product it's self is 500ml and the Retail Price is £6.50 which is such a bargain as the product lasts for so long. The smell on this product is just so beautiful and rich, one of the ways I could describe the scent is sweet vanilla and it lasts on the skin for a long time too. The ingredients are Suds Moisture Boots, raw flower honey . almond milk  and soap & glory described the scent as almond, oats & brown sugar which is just simple irresistible. The packaging of the product is very much a bonus as it is a pump at the top which is such a benefit when using in the shower. The body wash is very moisturising on the skin and leaves the skin super soft. this product can also be used when having a bubble bath by using a few pumps of the product.

Review Nivea Express Hydration Primer

The Nivea Hydration both Primer and Moisturiser has been on the market for quite a while now.  The primer comes in both Dry/Sensitive Skin and Normal/Combination Skin. I opted for the Normal/ Combination Skin as I don't tend to get dry skin. The most amazing thing about this product is that it's 2 in 1 both primer and moisturiser because of this it leaves with amazing smooth finished results on my skin which I haven't seen with another cheap primer before.

Nivea's Claims about the product...
'A light gel cream which absorbs instantly so you can apply make-up right away. Moisturises your skin with effective Hydrators & Vitamins for long-lasting hydration and provides an even and smooth base for effective make-up application. Helps make-up to stay in place'

I personally think that this product certainly lives up to the expectations that they have set this is something that not all product do. The product has a beautiful smooth texture which absorbs the product into my skin so gently and perfectly and as a result provides a even surface for my makeup application. The product does have a smell which is a cucumber kind of faint smell that does smell extremely fresh when applied to the skin. It leaves my skin so lovely and smooth but with zero oil as this product is not oily at all for people who may suffer with oily skin.

The product is actually silicon based but feels a gentle lotion on the skin and sinks into the skin straight away, which is a benefit for people who do not want to wait awhile for the product to dry to be able to apply their foundation. This product does feel so hydrating on your skin making your skin feel refreshed and a smoother application for the foundation. I truly needed to find a cheap primer that makes my make up last all day ,as I have problems with caking around and on my nose due to wearing make-up all day as the foundation starts to cake off my skin . I'm so pleased with the results of the Nivea Hydration Primer as my make-up lasts much longer and as a result my makeup does not cake.

One of the best parts about this product it's RRP price is only £4.99 which is amazing for the amount of product that you get and the results you have on your skin. As far as I know the product is only available at Superdrug, Boots and Tesco. Superdrug have recently had price cuts on the Nivea range and as a result when I recently purchased this product I only paid £3.32 so I could not recommend this product enough, for this price you can not go wrong.

Real Technique Sam's Pick Brushes

Real Technique have undertaken a huge following over the past couple of years and I included highly recommend their brushes due to the amazing quality. Although for some people they may come across as slightly expensive the diverse range truly makes up for this. Another important factor is that the Real Techniques Brushes are so soft due to the fact of their cruelty free bristles and once washed they keep the shape and their softeness which is amazing.

The set in which I am currently in love with is the Real Techniques Sam's Picks Make up Set. This is a limited edition range, the set contains six full size brushes which retails for £29.99. The set includes two Base brushes which are the Buffing Brush and the Pointed Foundation Brush, two Finishing Brushes which are the Setting Brush and the Multi-Task Brush and Lastly two Eye brushes which would be the Essential Crease Brush and the Fine Line Brush.

The Multi- Task Brush was the biggest brush within the Real Technique Sam's Picks Set, RT says that it could be used as a blush or bronzer brush, however I felt that it would be too big to be used as a Blush but would be more suited to a Powder Brush, as it helps to secure my makeup in place for the whole day. This brush gives you a light even coverage which is perfect for everyday wear makeup.

The Setting Brush can be used as a highlighter or even an under eye concealer. Although I prefer to use it as a blush brush, I particularly don't like big brushes as my blush as I prefer petite brushes to go on the apples of my cheeks so it can be easier to apply the blush. This brush is extremely soft and very light meaning that the bristles are not dense making it so perfect to use as a blush.

The Buffing Brush has to be my favourite brushes out of the Real Technique Set. As the bristles are nearly flat this is perfect for applying foundations, as the brush allows you to buff the foundation onto the face effortlessly, it can also be perfect for blending tinted moisturiser , primer and any other cream products. I would certainly recommend this product as it certainly makes the foundation last longer if you apply the primer before hand.

The pointed Foundation Brush is described by Real Technique of being good to use with liquid foundation and to be able to build the custom coverage. I felt that this brush had a better use of becoming my concealer brush it works exceptional for under the eyes. The method in which I do this is I use the tip of the brush to apply the concealer to my skin and then use the flat sides of the brush to blend it in. This brush is amazing for blending in tricky areas like the nose, this can also be a good tool for highlighting.

The Essential Crease Brush is a flawless blending brush on the crease of the eyelid, the bristles have been cut to a relatively stiff way but however does have softness within it like the other brushes. I hope to be using this product more in the up and coming months due to the fact I'm wearing eye shadow on occasion, so I would need to try this product out more to create a better view upon this brush. However after the few times I have used it I do adore this brush and wish to carry on using it more.

The Fine Line Brush, this brush is to be used as a eyeliner brush as it has unique precision as the bristle is hard but it is long in length meaning that it could take time to get used to for some people. I can not also comment much on this product as I have not used it yet and is only going by other reviews of a variety of people, I hope that this brush leads up to its expectations as I only wear liquid eyeliner on occasion so I shall have my opinion ready when I use it myself.

I honestly feel that this brush kit is the best Real Technique have released and I am so pleased to have this set as it is a limited edition. As you get six amazing quality brushes which are cruelty free with such soft bristles. As these brushes are a set of size and retailing at £29.99 this would mean that each brush would only cost £5, I personally feel this is amazing value as the results of the brushes are astounding. I also feel that this set would be perfect as a starter kit as it has every brush that you would want starting off your makeup collection brushes. These brushes are easy to wash and very quickly to dry which is good as you would want to have the brushes dry asap. I would highly recommend buying this set.

Lastly to mention that sorry that the photos of my brushes are not clean, I do clean them every couple of days but I  completely forgot to clean for the review.Thank you for reading, I hope to hear opinions on what you thought about Real Techniques Sam's Picks.
